April 30:
On this last day of April, Yellow Swallowtails were dancing about the Gardens. Curiously, they seemed attracted to purple or pinkish purple blooms. In this case, the flower is Rose Verbena, a Native Plant. The Master's Palette, as per usual, was extraordinary with the contrast between Flower and Butterfly. One Swallowtail seemed to dance around me, pirouetting and bowing. I crept around trying to get a good pic with my camera. She was patient for a while, then she was off!
