Kitchen Re-do in High Gear

It's intense around here with the kitchen renovation. I am making calls, completing research on products, ordering. Richard is cleaning walls, filling cracks and holes, covering everything with plastic, painting (can you hear the swish swish of the brush?) Melanie is settling in from her adventure to the East Coast, tending to the new baby peeps (we have lost 2 and another seems not well), contacting hatchery, doing wash, peeling boiled eggs. We are thinking about simple foods to fix that require minimal effort. You gotta keep the work crew fed.
