Drying Tomatoes

August 11:

Melanie picked Tomatoes for drying this Evening. That big Stainless Steel Bowl, which we love especially at this Season, held a generous 11 pounds.
While Dinner was cooking and after Dinner was over, we 3 C's cut the Little Ones in half and spread them out on the Dehydrator Shelves. We had a real system going. Richard and Melanie cut them in half. I placed them on the Dehydrator Shelves. As the cutting was finishing, Melanie shifted to helping me place them on the Shelves.

We worked quickly. We had a task to complete. Usually, Melanie does this one. We all knew that it would be done more quickly if we each worked together on it. We all 3 were tired after a busy day with the Construction Project in the House. The Tomatoes simply had to be done.
We noted that regardless of what is going on with the Humans and their Lives, the Garden is in full swing. We are deeply grateful for the Bounty in our Lives.
