Spider Magic appeared out of the Mist early this Morning. This lovely Web adorned the Garden Gate.
"Welcome to my Garden," Mrs. Spider seemed to say. Or was it Mr. Spider? And do both the Mrs. and the Mr. make Webs? We are reminded how little we know of the World outside our Human Slice.
As we looked around, we 3 C's noted Single Strands of Spider's Webs that stretched horizontally across many Feet. I use "Feet" as a standard Human Measure, not by Measure of Spider Feet. That would be a lot of Spider Feet.
Those very thin Strands ornamented by tiny Drops of Dew were carefully suspended from Fence to Tree to Shrub and back again. They swayed a bit in the gentle Breeze.
We 3 Humans scratched our Heads and pondered: "How do the Spiders do that?" To which Melanie responded: "Whee......!"

We used to have huge garden spiders at our old place...I loved to see the morning dew on their webs. Here in MI, we don't have them, just a LOT of daddy longlegs that scurry off when I pick the beans.
