Planting should be complete
when Strawberries
are ready for harvest.
Otherwise,
competing energies
are at work:
planting/harvesting,
cool season/warm season.
Our planting
is late this year
due to Rains.
As Strawberries
are red ripe
in the patch,
I am cutting back
on what I have intended
to plant.
It seems more respectful
of Nature's energies,
and more respectful
of the limited energy
of me.
