December 1:
We are putting on a big push in the Garden today because a Cold Front is moving in. Winter is about to make His Presence known, no bones about it. That means, at last, we are putting the Garden to bed. While it comes with sadness, we are also relieved.
While a big surprise to us, we still have a considerable amount of Greens in the Garden. With a little help from the 3 C's, they are migrating their way into the House in advance of those colder temperatures.
Lacinato Kale, which is in the Banner Photo, is one of my favorites. Those lovely crinkly leaves suggest another name by which it is known: Dinosaur Kale. The Child in me just loves this one. The intriguing photo is of the underside of a Leaf.
