Nature Notes
At 2 weeks past Summer Solstice, Richard noted today that most of the Songbirds seem to be finishing their last round of nesting. Many are taking on Fall Behaviors. Bird Song is significantly reduced from the Chorus we enjoyed earlier. Males are sometimes found loafing together. We had 3 Red-Winged Blackbird Males at the Feeder today. Earlier in the Season, they would not have been found close to each other.
